Polanco is Mexico City’s most affluent neighborhood — polished, upscale, and confidently put together. It doesn’t shout for attention, it assumes it.

Sit at a café along Avenida Presidente Masaryk and you’re not watching the city hustle — you’re watching capital circulate. Make your way over to Museo de Soumaya afterwards.

Polanco’s streets and architecture are polished and composed, with a main commercial strip and mostly residential backdrop.
A 24–70mm or 35mm works well to capture facades, tree-lined avenues, and luxury storefronts. Look for reflections in windows and shiny surfaces — they add depth but can create glare.

Polanco is generally safe, but it’s an upscale, busy neighborhood. Keep your gear close, be discreet, and avoid blocking sidewalks or entrances.
